This Product Privacy Policy explains how Klarity Intelligence, Inc. (“Klarity,” “we,” “us,” or “our”) collects, uses, shares, transfers, secures, and retains personal information when you access the Klarity SaaS application or any related in-product features (“Product”). By using the Product or providing information to us in that context, you accept this policy. We may revise it from time to time and will post the updated date above. 1. Information We Collect
- Account data – name, title, business contact details, login credentials, and signature.
- Customer-provided content – documents, contracts, and audit data uploaded or generated by your organisation in the Product.
- Device data – IP address, browser or device type, session identifiers, and basic usage metrics collected through strictly necessary cookies or similar technologies.
- Data from others – business contact lists or professional networks confirming your role or permissions.
Children under sixteen. We do not knowingly collect data from anyone under 16. If you believe we have done so, email hello@klarity.ai so that we can delete it.
2. How We Use Personal Information
We use personal information to:
- operate, improve, and troubleshoot the Product;
- protect security and prevent fraud by detecting, investigating, and acting on threats or illegal activity;
- communicate with you for support, feature updates, account notices, and invoices;
- comply with laws, enforce agreements, and resolve disputes.
Legal bases: contract performance, legitimate interests, legal obligations, protection of vital interests, and consent (which you may withdraw by emailing hello@klarity.ai).
3. Sharing and Transfers
- Within Klarity – employees, subsidiaries, and affiliates who require access.
- Authorised customer users – personnel and auditors designated by the customer.Service providers – cloud hosting, authentication, analytics restricted to product performance, and payment processors bound by contract.
- Business-transaction counterparties – if Klarity undergoes a merger, acquisition, or asset transfer.
- Legal or safety authorities – when required to comply with law or protect rights, property, or safety.
- Cross-border transfers – data is stored in the United States and may be accessed from other countries. Where required, we use Standard Contractual Clauses or an equivalent safeguard.
We do not sell personal information, profile individuals, or make automated decisions. We may disclose aggregated or anonymised data that cannot identify you.
4. Data Security and Retention
We encrypt personal information in transit and at rest and apply layered technical, administrative, and physical safeguards. Although these controls are strong, no online system is completely secure. 5. Your Privacy Rights
Depending on local law, you may request to access, correct, port, delete, object to, restrict, or withdraw consent for personal information. You may also lodge a complaint with your supervisory authority if you reside in the European Economic Area, Switzerland, the United Kingdom, or California.
